Got rid of a lot of my old furniture so this pic. shows some of the new. Still in the shop when I took this pic, has now been delivered wrapped in plastic. The stripped cushions will have to be replaced with something royal and I think the whole set is Shibella proof.

Perfect day to celebrate the bubble wrap in the middle of packing. Don't think Shibella needs any as she is already packed. And when you arrive you will be able to return to all your lovely stitching. Happy moving! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of work packing and more work unpacking but I am sure you will enjoy going through your collections and rearranging items.
ReplyDeleteShibella in a box is just making sure she is not left behind.
Good luck.
Good luck with your move. We will be selling our house soon. I've already started downsizing the amount of stuff we have accumulated after 37 years.
ReplyDeleteGood luck for your new house
ReplyDeleteI wish you a lot of happiness
Wow ! I can only say poor you what a mess ! But also a new start. Shibella certainly won't agree to stay in the house without you ! Hope you will show me some pictures ! What a nice arrangement between your neighbor and you and Shibella stays in the same area too ! You certainly will find enough walls to hang up your royals ! My son has 360 photos of Toby in the WC hanging on all 3 walls and the door ! Wish you an excellent move !
ReplyDeleteOh Sylvia, I don't envy you moving. Ken and I will be carried out of this house in the proverbial pine boxes, I swear! Neither of us could bear the thought of packing and moving, let alone to a smaller house! This one isn't big enough now for my linens (one room) and craft stash (another room), but I manage to keep it under control somehow..
