Yet More Queen Stitching

I have a new computer and I am still a little afraid of it. I accidentally deleted my last post so this is a challenge. My two lovely children bought me the computer and I must prove I am up to the challenge.         I have finished my Andy Warhol cross stitch and I am pleased with the result though it took a while to stitch and by the end I was totally fed up with it.

You can see my cross stitch is a near perfect match for the picture. Had to buy this book as Joanna Lumley chose an Andy Warhol painting for the cover. Andy W. did 4 colours of the Queen, the other 2 colours are over the page in my book.
Now I have a small Andy Warhol Corner.
My next project is this large street party I am stitching for the platinum Jubilee next year. It's about 77 cm long and 20cm wide with lots of back stitches and half stitches. This will keep me busy for the next year or so.
One of the deleted items from the last post is my tapestry finished for the Jubilee next year It was a Diamond Jubilee tapestry I have had for a while. I only had to change 2012 to 2022, easy.

  1. Good to see you are still working hard and your creations are as wonderful as ever. You seem to be doing very well with the new computer. Good luck with any challenges be they from the computer or cross stitch

  2. Andy and Queen Elizabeth, what a great pairing. The display looks very different and just as interesting. The changing times of the long reign of Her Majesty 😊
