One of many unfinished aprons I have, so much work has already been stitched so would love to know what happened in this persons life to so abrubtly stop sewing. Note the shoes so well done.

Hi Sylvia,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for introducing yourself to me on my blog - I am absolutely delighted to hear from another apron collector! I've just had a small drool over your aprons here, none of which I have in my collection. But that's the fun of meeting other collectors, isn't it - seeing what they have that you don't. I haven't had any new ones for a while, but you can be sure whenever I find one, it is posted to my aprons blog very quickly!
While I'm not strictly a collector of Royalty items, I do have some early linen with Royalty designs, including commemorating the coronation of George VI (is that right - Elizabeth II's father, anyway), and two tablecloths commemorating QEII's coronation. Oh, and a suppercloth for her visit here in 1953.
I'm going to add your blog to my sidebar so I can keep track of your aprons, cats, etc.!
