Souvenirs from a royal visit to Australia in 1949. This visit was cancelled due to the King's ill health, some souvenirs had already been sold including the silk handkerchief with picture of Princess Margaret who was coming too, and the pretty milk jug and sugar bowl.

ReplyDeleteMy friend has found a butter dish to this set in pristine condition. Would you venture a guess as to what it might be worth?
ReplyDeleteThese Royal souvenirs are only ever worth what a collector is willing to pay. I bought my set on eBay and I only paid $12. I was the only bidder and think I got a bargain. Hope this helps.
DeleteThanks- it does help!
