Announced on the news tonight, Kate will be going to her wedding in a car not a coach, how dissapointing. Next channel news said William and Kate will travel back to the Palace in a coach. Who and what to believe??? I want coaches and lots of horses and lots of bands and cheering crowds and me in the middle of it all. I mean, really, it must be just as easy to hitch a couple of horses to a coach as polish up a car. Also more difficult to see the bride in a car. I must take a deep breath, have a cup of tea, then write a protest letter to the Palace.

Oh I´m sorry to read that.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was: Surely it is much more safe to drive in a car...
but much more beautiful to drive in a coach ;o)
Safeness is also important.
Keep calm!
Oups, how embarrassing ...sorry my grammar...I mean safety is important
ReplyDeleteMaybe they will ride in a convertible with the top down. Then you can still see them. :)
ReplyDeleteI am imagining they are going to do a lot of things more modern.
We'll have to wait and see!

I think if they decided this it is because of the terrorist attemptions. This big wedding is ideal for Al Quaida ! It's a pity for us who also want to see. But I prefer them safely sitting in a car than dead laying in a coffin ! Ideal would be bullet safe glass.
ReplyDeleteIf you go to London nowadays you would be surprised how much is done for people's safety. There is not even a litter box in the stations ! One could drop a bomb in it. You have to throw your garbadge on the floor !
It's more romantic in a coach !
ReplyDeleteHope you'll not be disappointed.
Hugs,
Sylvia
It is disappointing. But we must remember that the couple want to do things their own way. Sophie Wessex went to her wedding in one of the royal cars and she was totally visible through the big windows. I will look forward to the couple's procession after the wedding and their appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace!
